HISTORY

Born in 1958 and located along the banks of the Detroit River, the unique & magical atmosphere of the Roostertail has captured the interest of the “who’s who” all around the city and has become “the” place to see and be seen. As well as hosting some of Detroit’s most memorable parties, weddings and events, the Roostertail has also had its share of fame hosting a number of celebrity performers with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Kid Rock and Tony Bennett (who was once an employee), and has hosted many special guests including Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones and Elton John.
